<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><em><br /><br /></em></span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">As some of you may already know, my lovely 16year old neighbour Pippa was diagnosed in October 2009, with a rare form of Sarcoma called Paediatric Wild-type GIST (Gastro Intestinal Stromal Tumour) GISTs are a rare form of cancer which usually affect people in later life, so I guess you could say that Pippa is a bit &ldquo;special!&rdquo;<br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">As GIST is such a rare cancer, which doesn't respond to "traditional" forms of chemotherapy or radiotherapy, funds are always needed to help with vital research to help find a cure for this type of cancer, and to provide support and information for people like Pippa, and their families.&nbsp; So in order to raise both awareness of this type of cancer and funds, I&rsquo;ve taken on this run as a personal challenge, my first ever 10k race, as part of "Team GIST" to benefit The Sarcoma Trust. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Any donation you can make will be very much appreciated,</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Thanks</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Jennyx<br /></span></p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
