Story

For those of you that know me know I love a walk and this is just an extra long one I am embarking on with my Uncle Gav... 24 miles and 5200ft of ascent up Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in less than 12 hours, to be exact!

I will be raising money for SANDS, the still birth and neonatal death charity, who support anyone who has experienced the devastation caused by the death of a baby.

Approximately every 90 minutes in the UK a family loses a child and the work SANDS does to support these people is inspiring and worth every blister and ache I will inevitably get.

2019 also marks the 10 year anniversary of my amazing Grandad's passing and his ashes were scattered at the top of Pen-y-gent.

So not only is this charity close to my heart, so is the route we are taking!

Please dig deep and give whatever you can, it really is a worthwhile cause.
