Story

I am taking part in the Thames Hospice Open Water Swim Challenge in memory of my mother Diane Hazell who sadly died on 4 May 2023 after a long and happy life. The nurses looked after my mum as well as my sisters and dad during mum's last few days of life with kindness and respect. Whilst this event will challenge me, I know what a difference the money will make to those patients and families who are facing the most difficult of challenges. Thames Hospice are here to ensure that patients and their families are cared for with the utmost compassion, dignity and respect. Funds raised from this swim will ensure that Thames Hospice can continue to provide care to those in the local community.
