To support the Sheffield Myeloma Research Team in finding a cure for Myeloma

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I research a cancer called myeloma, which is a cancer of the plasma cells that are found in the bone marrow. It causes bone disease, recurring infections, chronic fatigue and kidney damage. Currently there is no cure.

We want to raise funds to continue research into a new therapy using a genetically engineered virus to kill the myeloma cells, with the aim of starting clinical trials where it will begin to benefit patients.

Every donation will help us find a cure for myeloma.

About the charity

We help Sheffield’s hospitals, community teams and health and social care services to cover costs their NHS budgets can’t. We fund support for patients and staff, life-changing research and more, so that we can enhance care from birth to the end of life and everything in between.
