Story

Hi as many of you know, I've bored most people to death about it!, I am running Manchester Marathon this year.

It's my first marathon, and training has coincided with it being the wettest winter ever recorded!

Training has involved taking in the delights of Trafford Park at night in the hail and storms, and also the bleak openness of Carrington, it hasn't involved running in beautiful areas!

Some of you will know that a 12 hour Karaoke all dayer was also held to raise money for this cause, but I'm not brave enouogh to sing for 2 minutes, I have offered to run for 4 hours instead!

All money raised will be going towards setting up a Playgroup in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at St Marys Hospital in Manchester. This will help to support families who have new babies within the Unit.

The Unit is dear to me as several of my friends children have spent time in there, and it has created the amazing funny brave little fighters that they are. Please give what you can for this amazing cause, and I promise to never bore you about running again!
