This is an exciting challenge for myself and my colleagues from npower Business, to show everyone our commitment and dedication to the cause, and the great work they do for those at their most vulnerable. We're doing all 3 Peaks in one day on Friday 7th August 2015 (next week! Eek!).

I have myself seen the devastation that cancer can bring, to my own family, with my Grandma Violet being the hardest to overcome and understand. She was taken from me too early in my life, yet she was an inspiration to me by always putting on a brave face right until the end. Her suffering towards the end, and the hopelessness my mum and I felt whilst trying to care for her, is something that no-one should go through. Here’s hoping to a cure soon.

This will be an especially difficult physical challenge for me too following knee surgery last year, so it should show everyone what metal I'm made of (other than the bolt in my knee). So if I could please ask for some help in raising some much-needed pennies for the wonderful people at Macmillan Cancer Support, you'll be a life-saver (literally). Dig deep :O).
