Two days to go and feeling good! Bring it on!

Updated on Sep 3rd 2011 at 4:43 PM from the JustGiving API

With just two weeks to go until the Great North Run I am praying that my training is going to pay off! Any money that I raise goes directly to Scope who promote equality for people with disabilities. Thank you x

I'm a crazy mare and have decided to run the Great North Run again this year in aid of Scope who raise awareness and offer help to the families and sufferers of Cerebral Palsy. Not everyone can have the opportunities in life that we have been so lucky to get which has inspired me once again to challenge myself in order to raise some money for charity.

This time around I am aiming to run the whole 13.1 miles of the Great North Run in under 2 hours. My previous personal best for a half marathon was 2hrs 17mins and it will certainly be a challenge to shave off over 1 minute per mile! Please show your support for myself and this great charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
