My Name is Jennifer, I am wife to Dean, mum to 3 amazing humans Owen, Rhys & Erin, daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend!

I have spent my life and parenthood making my family's wishes come true,  It's my favourite thing to do, Visiting NYC, Birthday wishes to ride a  unicorn, Disneyland Paris and our most recent adventure to Lapland to meet Father Christmas. 

4 years ago my amazing friend Elaine took on an adventure to Trek across the Arctic to raise Money for When You wish apon a star to be able to send family's on Wish days to meet Father Christmas. I was blown away and intrigued by this, I watched her train, joined her on fundraising events and watched her complete this incredible journey to help fund 16 families on an incredible trip to Meet Father Christmas himself. 

I have wanted to follow in her footsteps Ever since! 

After taking my own children and experiencing meeting father christmas I have had this Trek on my goals board in the hope to be able to make a small difference to other families to make these incredible memories with their own loved ones. A flipent conversation about her adventure and my putting it out there to the universe I have found myself in an incredibly lucky position where a last minute place for the Arctic Wish Trek 2023 landed on my lap!!

I couldn't say no after putting it out there but with less than 2 months to get my head round being away from my family for 6 days (a big deal for me!), knowing no-one else on the Trek, training,  fundraising for this amazing charity and with Christmas thrown in it's all been a bit of a whirlwind or should I say Snow Storm!

But here I am, ready to take on this 70km Trek in the Arctic at -??° who knows, but I am forever grateful to anyone who would like to support me on this incredible adventure of a lifetime.
