Bristol Half Marathon 2010 · 5 September 2010 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Alzheimer’s cause is close to my heart as my lovely Dad Edward was at early stages of the disease when he passed away last December. So I’ve mustered up the energy and am doing the half marathon in his honour. If he was around today he would be very proud that his rather lazy daughter was taking on such a challenge. It is amazing when you talk about the disease you realise that it touches so many peoples lives and how little is really known about how to treat it. All of your donations will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society and hopefully one day there will be a breakthrough in treating the disease.  I will be very grateful for all your donations however large or small.

Now where did I put those trainers…..
