This Saturday evening I will be joining a challenge to walk a half marathon in London. Crikey - 13 miles!  I can't promise an olympic performance but I am going to do my best to help in the fight against cancer.

Like me you probably have friends or family who have been affected. With around 125 women diagnosed everyday, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Cancer Research UK's work has helped ensure that 8 out of 10 women now survive their disease. But around 12,000 women and 70 men still die from the disease each year in the UK.
