Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival · 10 September 2022 ·

The 16th Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Saturday 10th September 2022 on the River Cam at Fen Ditton and more than 40 teams are expected to compete over the 200m race course, watched by several hundred spectators in support of ACT.

Story

I am taking part in Cambridge's Dragon Boat Race which is taking place 10th September 2022.  I will be a crew member of the team called EBFLOAT (decided by work poll!) which was entered by Cambridge Vacuum Engineering (CVE).  We will be paddling a 30" boat down a 200m stretch on the River Cam.

The event is in aid of Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) and myself and team are raising money which will go towards their mission.  ACT's mission is to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke and the Rosie hospital experience the highest quality of care available over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.

All donation will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you! :)
