This June my 10 year old niece Mya and I will be running the race for life.  As most of you know my mum has been living with cancer for a few years now and is in constant pain.  It is horrible watching this happen to someone you love and not being able to do anything about it.  We just have to hope that this money raised can somehow help.  

We are also running for Louise Duncan, the minister from balerno who sadly lost her 6 month fight against cancer a few weeks ago.  Louise was only 41 and leaves behind an 8 year old son.  She married Jamie and I and christened Ryan and was a huge comfort to my mum and dad over the last few difficult years.

I know many of you will have been touched by cancer somehow but it is still happening to too many people so please help a little by sponsoring us.

And if nothing else you can have a good laugh at me trying to run round Arthur seat while trying to keep up with a 10 year old.
