So my story... where to start! I have entered the ballot for the London marathon for the last 10 years with no success.. finally I was lucky enough to get a space for 2020 just in time for Covid to cancel it all!

I ran 2020 virtually and now in 2021 I am ready for the  actual race! Running has been my life line for the last year so I am super excited for this challenge!

The charity I am running for is Leukaemia Care, which is something that is very personal for me. In 2019  I was diagnosed with a blood cancer myself after finding a blood clot in my brain. It’s been a difficult few years, which has lead me to taking injections  weekly to steady my platelet levels. I am now on lifelong treatment. and while I am still coming to terms with everything it has made me more determined to succeed. Leaukaemia Care are the charity that support people with my diagnosis, and if/when my condition progresses I may need their support one day, so it means a lot to support the Charity while I can.
