Back in August this year after a very difficult pregnancy me and my partner chris found ourselves in a position that would be heartbreaking difficult and the hardest 8 weeks of our lives...

On 29th August 2016 at 10.43pm our son arrived into the world 11 weeks prematurely weighing a tiny 2lb 14oz his fight began as soon as he was delivered and he stopped breathing minutes after his life started

Joseph Harley Fortune then spent 8 weeks in the neonatal unit at arrowe park where he continued to fight every day to stay alive and get stronger

Then finally on 25th October we brought him home on oxygen where he continues to thrive and surprises us every day with how well he is doing we know that this is far from over and the future is uncertain but with the support we receive we are determined to carry on and face whatever comes our way knowing our little man will have the best life possible thanks to the start he got and the continued support we get every day.
