Story
On 4th July 2007 we lost my 20 year old amazing brother Karl to cancer, A funny, caring, thoughtful, and gentle giant , A father to be , hard working builder, who enjoyed keeping fit, began having headaches three days before, he became weak and in a lot of pain very quickly, after long hours waiting our world was turned upside down when we were told he had testicular cancer, but the staff in Beaumont reassured us that he would recover as he was very young, however after surgery they sadly discovered that because he was so fit the cancer spread aggressively and very quickly, hours later we lost my parents Son, my brother, my nephew lost his daddy and his mummy lost her man, our family chain is now and will always be broken, please please at any age get regular health checks because you never know what the future holds, it can happen to anyone. The reason I chose beamount hospital is because we cannot explain how amazing the staff were and they don't get enough credit including my inspiration (my mam Marie) who now works here to help other families.
