Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
2 weeks ago my life changed after I received a phone call from my Mother telling me my Dad, who had cancer, had suddenly deteriorated and had to be admitted into Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh. After a brave, probably too brave, ten day fight he at last found peace. The level of care and support for my Father was all we could have hoped for. He was treated with dignity and kindness by everyone who looked after him. As a family we were given all the support and guidance needed, as well as hugs when required. And many tissues. So, my sister and I were going to not do the New York Marathon as we were too sad. Dad would not have wanted that so we are going to do it for him. " Run for Daddy" as Mum says! Just donate what you can and if you can't please just remember what a wonderful man my Dad, your Dad is. Thank you to Marie Curie nurses xxx
