Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the next 26 days starting Sunday 26th April, we will be taking part in a challenge to raise vital funds for Puzzle Centre during these unprecedented times. As you know, general fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
This impacts all sectors of society and includes my place of work, the amazing Puzzle Centre. Puzzle Centre is a charity promoting and delivering early intervention for young children with autism or communication difficulties. They provide training and outreach to families and practitioners throughout the UK.
Every child with autism or other communication difficulties should have access to prompt, appropriate and high quality education, therapy and support. The Puzzle Centre mission is to provide high quality education and therapy for young children with autism or other communication difficulties; to ensure that families receive expert advice and support and to lead the development of best practice early intervention.
Whatever you can do to help support this amazing charity will be gratefully received. We know it’s a challenging time for many at the moment, but it’s also a time when these wonderful charities need our support more than ever, so if you are able to spare a few pennies then please donate what you are able to the extremely worthy Puzzle Centre!
We will both be making a different handmade card a day over the next 26 days. If 100 friends donated just £2.60 that would be a fantastic amount of money raised! This is a charity that is very close to our hearts as both our boys have been diagnosed, but later on. We missed out on this vital early intervention.
