Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Firstly I'd like to say a massive thank you to all those lovely people who sponsored mine and Tina's skydive last year. We raised a fantastic amount of money for Katharine House which made the whole terrifying experience well worth it.

This year I've chosen to continue to support Katharine House Hospice , a great charity that does amazing work with local people who face life limiting conditions.

In 2011/12 the charity helped 845 patients and their families through services such as the Day Therapy Unit, In-patient Unit, Lymphoedeama Clinics, At Home Service and Bereavement and Counselling Support. It is now also supporting people through it's Well- Being Programme which was newly launched in 2012.

My challenge this year is to 'run' the Stafford Half Marathon. Having signed up and stared my training just before Christmas (probably a bit late), I've had a few set backs such as shin splints, the flu, a dodgy knee, dodgy back, a gammy toe and countless days of DOMs ( I'll put the violin away now!) It is all definitely going to be worth it to raise more money for such a great cause, even if I do have to crawl over the finish line, or maybe if someone is on hand they could carry me?!

If you could please donate a few quid, no matter how big or small, it's all going to support a great cause to do some amazing stuff. Thanks again, Jen x
