Story

We decided to skydive to help raise much needed funds for SBH Scotland, SBH help our friend Leanne & her little girl Amber.

Leanne found out at 22 weeks that Amber had Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus, Amber arrived 4 weeks early & underwent 10 surgeries In her first 10 weeks!! Now as a mum I can’t even begin to imagine what Leanne was going through!! But Leanne stayed positive and strong for her little girl but as she  sat waiting on Amber returning from her 6 surgery she felt so overwhelmed & alone she reached out to SBH Scotland!!

SBH Scotland have been providing emotional & practical support for both Leanne & Amber since that first phone call, sending time by Ambers bedsit, introducing Leanne to other mums who have went through the same, they have a support centre in Cumbernauld which hold family meet ups, individual family support workers who check in every month, provide vital support to Amber Nursery for training learning about shunts & signs to look out for incase of blockages or failing, helping fill out forms for the much needed financial support & most importantly  becoming a second family!!

Any support is much appreciated to help this amazing charity continue its work giving Amber & others to have  the best opportunities to explore & enjoy life with no limits

Thank you so much Jen xx
