Story

Every year me and my friend Mike do a bike challenge and this year it's reached 600 miles each (in one month) and well it's seems like it's going to be a little bit hard this year. So thought it would be a good opportunity after a tough year to show some support for my mum, who is so strong, brave and never complains and has faced so much batteling cancer over the last year. So I'm doing this help raise some much needed funds for myeloma UK....and promise I won't complain biking in the rain 600 miles.

Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells. At any one time there are around 24,000 people living with myeloma in the UK. It accounts for 15 per cent of blood cancers, and two per cent of all cancers.

Just £250 helps pay for one day of research into how the national institute of health and care excellence capture and use myeloma patient data in decisions about access to treatments/patient care.
