I will be cycling from London to Brighton (55 miles) on the 19th September to fundraise for Live Unlimited. 

Live Unlimited is a small local charity dedicated to empowering children in care and care leavers in Barnet. They have provided opportunities for young people to improve employability, confidence and self-belief - thereby enabling young people to create an identity outside of trauma. 

Projects include:

- Driving Ahead scheme - a package of 30 hours of driving lessons and the practical test for young care leavers. 

- Aspire Higher - a networking service to connect care leavers with professionals from different industries to encourage young people to take a creative approach to finding more fulfilling employment.

- Outdoor Club - a weekly opportunity for looked after children aged 9-13 to get together and take part in Forest School type activities, to teach them new skills, increase confidence and reduce social isolation. 

As a care leaver and trustee, I find great fulfilment in supporting an organisation which will be for others what I would have wanted for my younger self. 

Every donation will go towards making a positive difference.
