I have been lucky enough to have won a place in this year's London Marathon after making a last minute decision to enter the ballot (I am wondering what was going through my head at the time)! After running several half marathons in the last few years I know running 26 miles will definitely be a huge challenge! 

With my training now well underway I thought it would be a good time to set up a just giving page and hopefully raise some money for an amazing local charity..

There are no words to explain how fantastic Erme Valley RDA have been in helping Noah (our son), who was diagnosed with a rare condition called Perthes disease when he was just 3 years old. Their knowledge and understanding of the condition meant Noah had the support and therapy he needed, without them we could be in a very different position now! Raising some funds for this wonderful charity (who like so many other charities have found the last few years, during covid, a massive struggle) will just be a great way to say 'thank you' to the team for everything they do for us and for so many others! Every single penny raised is very gratefully received!
