I'm a nurse who works in post-operative care who has been given a wonderful oppertunity to work for Mercy ships for 2 months from September.

Mercy Ships is an international charity that operates the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship, the Africa Mercy, and provides medical and health care free of charge to people living in some of the poorest and challenging areas of the world.  I'll be working to help those recover from life changing surgery in a 78 bedded ward on the Africa Mercy whilst she is in service in the Republic of Congo.

As Mercy Ships is a charity that relies on volunteers and donations to carry out its life changing work, i will need to pay for my travel and stay on board.  That's where i need your help!  Please sponsor me - any money i raise will help me and Mercy Ships to carry out their wonderful work!
