After enjoying last year's virtual challenge, I decided to join the real challenge of road cycling. I have never attempted anything like this so the 200 mile journey from London to Torquay is quite daunting but I am committed to doing this as I really believe in this cause.

Astriid, a fantastic charity whose mission is to connect people with long-term health conditions, with meaningful work. Astriid helps bridge the gap between the invisible talent pool (people with chronic illnesses who wish to pursue volunteering or employment), and the UK skills crisis. Astriid believe that the value of work is far more that the wages paid. Employment provides routine, a sense of normality , challenges and rewards. 

I will be joining over 50 Salesforce colleagues in this challenge, many of us being new to road cycle challenges.  This will be three days of teamwork and support, with the whole team cycling together for Astriid
