Hi guys,

I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 7th for the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. As someone who only ever ran to catch a bus, the training has been quite intense but anyone who knows me well knows I could not be running it for a more suited cause! Preventing animal cruelty is something I feel very strong about but I cannot handle the horror stories, so this run is my little humble way of doing something!The Battersea Dogs & Cats Home does a really admirational and inspiring job of nurturing and rehoming abused and neglected animals. It costs an astonishing £36,000 a day to run and receives no government funding. 

My official target is £350 but I am aiming for £500.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
