Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Yes I'm officially mad, but I will promise you this! This will be my third and FINAL time that I do something as stupid as cycling the entire length of the country.

So why? Well, Vodafone aren't entering a team this year but there are other motivations now other than corporate sponsorship.

1) Following my successes of 2015 and 2017, I have inspired fellow SPPCC members, Ian Seagar & Bruce Talmage to take the plunge so it would be great to cycle alongside them.

2) Complete the event 3 times and there is a Golden Jersey at stake.. (I'm not competitive honest!)

3) In previous years a few people have commented why don't you raise funds for charities a bit closer to home... so having raised bucket loads for AIDS Support in, Lesotho and Refugees in Africa,   this year I probably couldn't get much closer to home than by choosing Parkinson's UK - I have a relative currently suffering from this and believe it or not there is NO CURE! Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition,  this means is causes problems in the brain which gets worse over time.

Parkinson's UK provide a variety of invaluable online, face to face, self-serve support mechanisms in addition to nursing care and research.

I'm sure you will all agree this is a worthwhile cause and I PROMISE this is the LAST TIME!!
