Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When my mum died from breast cancer 19 years ago,I remember the Marie Curie nurses,so gentle, caring and kind.
My own nightmare with breast cancer began in November 2014 and the nightmare is still there, living with cancer properly sucks.
I became a helper/volunteer for Marie Curie last year and I now sit with two ladies each week, and it makes me realise that 'hey,I'm still here' whereas my two lovely ladies WILL die and they know this.
I have since started a course to volunteer in a local hospice and also started an NVQ in end of life care.....I want to become a Marie Curie nurse, and I will get there. If I can help somebody face their last days in dignity and respect then I'll be truly happy in my work.
So please, please give whatever you can to support this wonderful charity,so that they can get more nurses out there to the people who need them, thank you so much XXXX
What makes the skydive even better is the fact that I'll be doing it with the RED DEVILS and also as it's a birthday present from my hubby, ALL of the monies can go to the charity....
