Im going to do my bit for charity and try and raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer. I sadly lost my beautiful mum in June this year to cancer. In 2010 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having breast cancer never stopped my mum from doing things, she was always out and about doing her thing :). She always put her family first no matter what. When mum started chemotherapy and eventually started losing her hair it still didnt put her down she just kept on fighting, she even laughed at me and my sisters calling her uncle fester or my dad saying "mini mare wae nae hair" . My mum was the 3rd sister to have went through Breast Cancer. She sadly lost her sister Francis and Anne to the illness. After chemotherapy mum had to have an opperation to remove both breast and her lymth glands. After mum had all her radiotherapy it was time to take it easy she would go have regular checks at hospital to make sure everything was okay. March 2012 mum finally got the news she was, she had the all clear and thing were looking good. Two weeks later life changed for the second time as my mum found out she had liver cancer and it was treatable but not cureable. For the second time mum had chemo so strink the cancer. As time went on mum became more weak and her body was starting to give up, but my brave mum just kept fighting. Then on the 27th of June 2012 my life changed forever as my mum lost her battle with  cancer. She passed away with the ones she loved beside her, it will be something myself my dad, sisters emma and charlene , cousins Jill and Allison will cherish for forever.

My mum was an amazing person who also put people first even when she was ill. She is the one who inspired me to rise money to Breast Cancer charity. On the 26th of October i will be taking park in the wear somet pink day to raise as much money as possible.
