Broadgate Tower Abseil · 15 September 2019 ·

This abseil from Broadgate Tower promises to be an unforgettable experience. It is one of the highest abseils we have offered at 165 meters.

Story

I am scared of heights and do not enjoy abseiling but feel I should do something that makes me face up to my fears.
I hope the guys up the top don't tell me not to look down or I might push them over the edge! Look down - don't they realise that if I looked down I would stay at the top for ever.  Who in their right mind would step off a building when they are that far off the ground
Cancer is scary and even when you get the all clear, like some of us lucky ones, there is always the feeling that it could return. In some respects it is often harder for the family & friends than the person with cancer and places like the Princess Alice Hospice allow people to die with dignity as well as offering the loved ones  counselling and support, So after the serious stuff this is me, Bonkers, terrified, determined to do it - yes but if you care to join me that is fine but if not please donate and Gift Aid it if you are a UK tax payer.
