As group leader this year I intend to push myself outside of my comfort zone to compete in some races before we travel to Lourdes 2015. 

On Sunday 2nd November 2014 I plan to run my first ever half marathon, this is the furthest I have ever run. Hopefully this run in Weston-Super-Mare will be flat.

My challenge is going to be hard as to date I have never run more than 10 miles (very slowly) and the race will be difficult but my challenge is small compared to the day to day difficulties faced by the children we take with our group.

Every penny raised will change the children’s lives. The pilgrimage to Lourdes increases confidence, gives hope and strength to children who face difficulties every day of their lives.
