Everyone has a cancer story. Isn't that awful? 

You'd think that in 2016 we'd be able to stop people we love from dying from this rotten disease. But it still takes lives, indiscriminately, brutally and suddenly. Imagine a world without it! 

If it weren't for cancer, you might have your loved ones still with you. 

If it weren't for cancer, we would still be listening to radio's cheerful tones of Joe Maiden and the passionate commentary of Ali Brownlee.

If it weren't for cancer, we would have many more Bowie albums to come. 

If it weren't for cancer, I might have had a Dad around still, to tell me off, argue with me and maybe one day walk me down the aisle.
