The suffering of women and children from domestic abuse is often hidden and therefore unrecognised. Covid has highlighted that home is not always a safe place, and so much more needs to be done to support these families.

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.
