Over the last few years Darren and I have been part of a fundraising effort called Climb of life for the Institute of Cancer Research,  which is an amazing charity which strives to research and develop treatments for all types of cancer. Last year Darren ran the Berlin Marathon and then we were both part of a challenging hike in the Lakes.This year Darren and I will run the London Landmarks half Marathon with Richard and Sue Ford, Darren will take on the Manchester Marathon, I will run the Sheffield Half Marathon and then in October I will run my first ever (and probably last) Marathon. We will then finish with the Climb of Life walk in the Lake District alongside Sue and Richard Ford, and Sandra and Dave Corcoran! We would be really grateful for any donation in support of these efforts.
