This will be my second trek for Link to Hope, they are a small charity helping people in Eastern Europe. Not only are they helping in the current crisis (I have seen beds they have bought for refugees days after an emergency appeal) but they will be there for Ukrainians and the people living in the bordering countries in the long term to help rebuild their lives.

I have visited some of their projects in Romania and Moldova and seen first hand how every penny is used to great effect (a very moving, humbling and uplifting experience). 

I wanted a challenge and this is it, not only 100km and 3 countries in 6 days but 5 of the days are the equivalent of climbing Snowdon from sea level!  We will be trekking in Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania, staying in basic accommodation in the mountains. I am paying for the whole cost of the trek myself as well as donating so all money raised will be going to the Link to Hope.
