Story
For my 70th birthday next month and to mark the 50th anniversary of the Lullaby Trust, I am planning to (attempt to!) walk 70 miles in July as part of the Trust’s “Miles in Memory” campaign.
The Lullaby Trust is a charity that saves babies lives and supports bereaved families. Since 1971, the Trust has played a major part in reducing the number of babies who die from sudden infant death syndrome. (SIDS) but more needs to be done. Around 4 babies a week still die from SIDS in the UK.
I will be walking these miles in July in memory of our beautiful son William who died in 1979 from SIDS. We miss him every day.
If you feel you could help by donating even a small amount to help me reach my target of £70, the Trust and I would be so very grateful.
I will update you on my slow, but hopefully steady progress.
Thank you.
