Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know my mum (Mick's wife), Julie, was taken into hospital at the end of last year. Her health deteriorated very quickly and she was unexpectedly taken into the Critical Care Unit (which is both Intensive Care - ICU & High Dependency - HDU) at Bournemouth Hospital.
Luckily with the amazing staff's help and support they managed to stabilise the situation and work out the cause of the problems quickly which meant after some time she was able to come home for Christmas.
The care she received at Bournemouth Hospital was absolutely phenomenal especially within her time spent in The Critical Care Unit (Both ICU and HDU).
The support, care and overtime the staff put in was remarkable and we would like to say a massive thank you.
My Dad (Mick) and I will be completing a 10,000 ft skydive on Sunday 8th March to raise money to support and say thank you to the entire Critical Care Unit at Bournemouth Hospital.
The work they do is incredible and the staff work extremely hard. After what happened it made me realise that things can happen very suddenly and we often take for granted the help that is easily available to us.
