As children, cancer stole Grandparents from us.  As a young family, it tried to take our daughter, and last year Jason lost his Nan. Now cancer has reared it head again and my mum is in the early stages of her journey with this wicked illness.

I decided quite a while ago to run the half marathon with Jason to challenge myself. Now, I want to turn this event into making a difference. UPDATE 25/01/2015. Doctors have confirmed that my Mum's cancer has been successfully removed and will now take Tamoxifen for 5 years to help reduce the risk of regrowth :)
