Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
Hayley and I will be running 26miles 385 yards for the Parkinsons Disease Society.
In honour of my dad, Stewart Bonewell, who was once the runner of many marathons around the world, I am running in the 2008 Flora London Marathon to raise money for PDS.In the decade since I ran my first marathon, dad has had cancer twice and been diagnosed with Parkinsons. The cancer, thankfully, is in the clear, but the Parkinsons is for life.
PDS have offered invaluable advice and support from the first diagnosis, as they do for many other families who are struggling with this disease.
Please sponsor as much as you can afford to ensure that their valuable work can continue. Parkinsons can affect anyone at anytime in their life, but PDS will be there whenever they are needed.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thank you
Jenna and Hayley
