Story
As if 2020 wasn't bad enough the universe decided it was going make things a bit harder and unfortunately my big sister (Lucy) was diagnosed with Appendix cancer, also known as Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). Appendix cancer is a very rare type of cancer that usually begins in your appendix as a small growth, called a polyp. Treatment could include surgery combined with chemotherapy into the abdomen.
Unfortunately we don't yet know the extent of Lucys cancer as she is still waiting to see the specialists but if you want to follow her journey then please follow her page on Instagram. Just copy the below:

When Lucy got diagnosed it was obviously a massive shock to our whole family and has taken time to process but one thing Lucy decided on quite early was that she wanted to raise awareness. So I started thinking 'how can I help?' and now here i am, running the London marathon 2021 to help raise awareness and money for this great charity.
Please dig deep and support as much as you can. The fundraising target is nearly as scary as running 26.2 miles 😳.
I'll be keeping this page updated with my journey.
lots of love
Jenna xx
