Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be helping to support everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support for them and their carers.

My Mum was diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer’s last year. She’s one of the fortunate ones to have an early diagnosis and benefit from medical treatment. I cannot tell you how amazing the support for her and our family has been. I’m so impressed that we have managed ,with the help of the society to get access to an advisor as well as an online carers course.

Research into early diagnosis and treatment is key to helping those struggling with dementia and those caring for them.

Every donation makes a difference.

Thanks.
