The Jennie Jeffs Silver Star Bursary is our way of honouring my mums legacy while helping others to save young lives.

Mum was our Angel, throughout her life she strived to help others with little thought for herself. She was a St. John Ambulance cadet through out her childhood before becoming a Nurse and a mum to everyone she knew.

Behind her smile and caring nature she hid heartache she had endured just to be able to be a mum, she had endured 25+ miss carriages aswell as still births, it was only her determination and the help of The Silver Star Team at The Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital that meant that she was eventually able to have two sons.

So, after we lost my mum, our Angel on earth it made sense to help those that helped her in her honour and memory. We provide a staff training bursary and emergency equipment fund for The Silver Star Team. We have so far provided 12 training bursaries to help those Angels help others.
