At the end of last year, a good friend of ours was diagnosed with leukemia. Given the opportunity through my college, I have been able to put together a live music event to raise charity, in both her name and the Christie Hospital in Manchester, for MacMillan Cancer Relief.

It will be a night packed with music by solo artists and full bands each with a link back to our beloved friend.

The event itself takes place on Saturday 14th May at The Bell Inn on the Old Market Place in Nottingham and we also intend to organise another event up in Manchester in the not too distant future.
