Story

Hello everyone!

Well who would've thought that in Summer 2011 Jen, Aileen and Missy would be training to run a half marathon!! Eeek - we are very scared!

We are running because we wanted to do something challenging to raise money for AET - getting fit for a good cause. Africa Educational Trust (where Jen works) is a small charity committed to supporting education for disadvantaged children and communities in East Africa.

AET's work ranges from holding non-formal literacy courses for pastoralist children and young people in Somalia (who have no access to formal education), promoting girls' education in Northern Uganda, and training teachers in conflict-affected South Sudan.

Please sponsor us to make up for all the sweaty training (!!) and to help people in Africa to access their right to education!

Thank you!

JAM
