Hi!

We're walking 20 miles again for Nicola and this year its in honour of her would be 45th birthday. A few of us are getting together from the original Trek China team to raise as many funds as possible to help women dealing with breast cancer. I have other friends who are currently going through chemo or recently finished their treatment - this is for you brave ladies too!

For those who don't know our story - we first got together in Oct 2008 to hike the Great Wall of China, we were a random group of strangers and we got along so well we've kept intouch ever since. Then in May 2010 we walked 20 miles in honour of one of the Great Wall trekkers, Nicola, who was just short of her 5 year all clear when her cancer returned. After a long battle and a great life Nicola sadly passed away and in June 2012 we walked another 20 miles in her memory and for her family. In June this year we'll be getting together to honour Nicola's memory again and to walk for all those who suffer or survived breast cancer. I am so grateful to all who have sponsored me through the years and once again am asking you to please dig deep in your pockets to donate to this great charity which helps women dealing with this terrible disease.

Breast Cancer Care accept donations in multiple currencies, you can donate online or alternatively if you're in Singapore you can hand me the cash and I'll donate on your behalf and send you the confirmation. Alternatively you can send a cheque directly to the charity: GBP cheques payable to 'Breast Cancer Care', I will need to send you a paying in slip to submit the cheque if you want to do this directly - please contact me for this.
