Like many people my life was touched by cancer when my father died in 2004. Macmillan gave all of us huge support and made me realise what wonderful people Macmillan nurses are and the comfort they offer at such awful times. I have now been involved with Macmillan for several years and have raised over £11,000 to date. I am now planning my next fundraising effort, and will pay all administration costs myself so any money donated through sponsorship will go directly to the charity.
