Aerobility Wing Walk Challenge · 24 September 2020 ·

A group Wing Walking day on the 26 October 2020 so that people can willingly strap themselves to the top of a flying aircraft for charity. Get involved to help support the British Disabled Flying charity, Aerobility.

Story

Back in 2017, I was delighted to fundraise for Aerobility by strapping myself to the top of a bi-plane and zooming around the skies at 150 mph. My mother has just about recovered from watching the ordeal, so I thought I would put her through it all over again!

About Aerobility:

Aerobility, formerly the British Disabled Flying Association, is a registered charity that believes everyone should have the right and opportunity to actively participate in aviation. We strive to remove the barriers that prevent individuals with disabilities from flying so that everyone is able to benefit from the life-changing experience. The name, Aerobility, encompasses who we are as a charity by combining our core-attributes: Aerospace and Ability. We focus on removing the barriers that our beneficiaries face on a daily basis to instil a sense of accomplishment and pride.
