Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 26th of March 2012 at the age of 24 I was told the news that I had stage 2B Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system. After many many hospital visits, a ton of medication and 12 lots of chemotherapy I am now currently in remission!
I always promised that as soon as I got the chance I would do what I could to try repay all the charities that helped me out when I got diagnosed last year. Macmillan were great, they gave me money so I could buy some new clothes as chemotherapy made me lose over 5 stone and nothing fitted me, they gave me advice on how to tell my son that I had cancer and even gave me books to help him understand more about my illness and how it was going to effect our family.
Macmillan were always so understanding and if they couldn't help they always knew somebody who could. This is the first of many charities I want to help out and by giving just the smallest amount you can help others recieve the help and support that was offered to me and that small amount of money could make a big difference to somebody like it did to me.
