Story

I, along with my 3 sisters, want to raise vital funds and awareness of the awful Motor Neuron Disease and the Charity MND Scotland. They are the only charity providing care, information and research funding for those affected in Scotland.

In 2012 our Aunt Ellie died, a very youthful 63, after fighting so bravely against what can only be described as the sheer torture of MND.  It took only 18 months after diagnosis for Ellie to lose her battle.

MND is truly terrifying.  There is no known cure or treatment.  Gradually it stops you from moving, speaking, eating and eventually breathing and it doesn't affect your intellect, you know exactly what is happening to you every step of the way.  The end result is always fatal.

MND Scotland provide essential support for people affected.  They provide advice, information and care; lending essential equipment and respite care.  They are the only charity in Scotland supporting not only the sufferers but their family and friends.

Please give generously to this truly worthwhile charity.

Thank you.
