Grace's Cheeky Kidney

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are raising money in memory of my daughter Grace. She was diagnosed with a tumour on her kidney just 3 weeks ago after developing abdominal pain. Initially it was thought to be a Wilms tumour, but the day before she died, histology showed it to be a highly aggressive rhabdoid tumour which was untreatable. She died in my arms in the Cancer unit at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital. In the 3 short days there, she received amazing care, but the ward and facilities are hugely in need of updating to help make such poorly children's' journeys that little more comfortable. We have been so grateful that Grace could travel to Worcester Acorns Childrens' Hospice after she passed away. Here she was able to rest while we came to terms with events, until her funeral yesterday. The pastural care that we were given by the staff has made our journey that little more bearable. The hospice is run on entirely charitable grounds, and as such needs as much support as possible. Any donations to either charity would be appreciated.
