Story
This year, on the World Refugee Day (June 20th) I will be cycling for 113 minutes to raise money to support Middle East Media's Life in the Desert project.
Children living in refugee camps and vulnerable communities across the
Middle East and North Africa are in need of psychological support to live healthy and happy lives. MEM's project will support and train school teachers and NGO workers in trauma relief, so that they are equipped with the necessary support and tools to go on and support vulnerable children.
I am raising money so that over the next 12 months 113 teachers and NGO workers in Syria, Iraq, Sudan and hopefully Jordan can be trained.
Will you please help me to reach my fundraising target of £500 to make a positive difference to the lives of children in need, and to bring them hope for a better future?
